Alphabet

"Alphabet" is one of the most iconic books of the publishing house, it is with it that the history of the publishing house "A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA" began. This edition of "Alphabet" was simply perfectly illustrated by Kost Lavro, the chief artist of the publishing house. His native and already classic images touch and fascinate for a lifetime. It seems that they have existed forever and that it was about Lavrov bunnies and kitties that were sung over our cradles... The book includes popular poems known to many generations of Ukrainian children, as well as new works. The book was edited by Ivan Malkovich.

"Alphabets" won a number of competitive victories in its time: the Grand Prix named after Ivan Fedorov of the "Book Art" competition; the first prize of the Forum of Publishers of Ukraine (1999), the title "Best Children's Edition of 1999" at the "Book of the Year" and others.

Many of our readers sincerely consider this book the best Ukrainian "Alphabet" since the time of Narbut. Every year, the publishing house releases a new edition of its brand "Alphabet". Often, these editions differ from each other only in small nuances, for example, a slightly changed drawing, a changed or edited poem.

"Alphabet" is recommended for teaching in preschool institutions of Ukraine.

The total circulation of previous editions of "Alphabet" reaches more than 350,000 copies.

At the end of the book there is a spread with the English alphabet. The book is made of thick cardboard.
