The adventure story of the famous children's writer Oleksandr Gavros tells about the vivid adventures of the unsurpassed mountain strongman Ivan Sila. The prototype of the main character of the story was the legendary Transcarpathian hero Ivan Firtsak, who won the title of champion of Czechoslovakia and Europe in several sports and traveled halfway around the world, performing in the circus, where he won many bright victories.
In 2013, based on this story, the first Ukrainian children's film of the third millennium, "IVAN SYLA", was shot, with graphic frames from which our publication is illustrated.
