Five aspiring authors arrive at a remote cottage in the Carpathians for an intensive writing retreat. Each has their own reason for being there: one has lost faith in themselves, another wants to prove they are capable of more, while someone else dreams of attracting the attention of the successful author and retreat curator Valerii Vovchak and earning their own “golden ticket.” But everything changes when they discover an anonymous manuscript—a text that uncannily accurately reflects their weaknesses and hidden motives. And it hints that one of them may not make it home. At first, it seems like a coincidence, a joke, or an assignment. But the atmosphere grows increasingly tense as new chapters of the mysterious manuscript appear. And when a death described on the pages suddenly becomes reality, the writers begin to suspect one another... An event intended to foster creativity turns into a psychological labyrinth, and every reaction becomes an element of someone else’s script.
